Important Update: Changes to GMHBA – FRANK Health Optical Item Number – frame only purchase from 1st September 2025.
- GMHBA Limited members cannot claim frames without a prescription lens through electronic systems such as HealthPoint. To receive an eligible benefit, on a frame only purchase, the member must submit their itemised receipt(s), including evidence that prescription lenses have been fitted, directly to the fund manually.
- The current item number O00110 – Frames will remain valid only until 31 August 2025. Item # O00110 – Frames will be replaced on 1 September 2025 with 5 new item numbers (see table below).

These five new codes relate to complete pairs. Going forward rather than using separate codes for frames and lenses members can claim for a pair of glasses using a single code that varies according to lens type.
Please ensure claims submitted from 1 September use the updated codes to avoid processing delays.
